Andrew and Jana were married at the beautiful Drumore Estate which is situated in the rolling hills of southern Lancaster County in Pequea, Pennsylvania. Spring is probably one of the best seasons to have your wedding at Drumore Estate because you get all of those gorgeous blooms within their formal gardens! Between the formal gardens, the alley of very old sycamore trees lining the driveway up to the mansion and the perfect overlook for a sunset, Drumore Estate has quickly become a favorite venue of mine. It’s no surprise why their weekends fill up so quickly every year!
Now, I’ve gotta share a little bit about this couple. You know how you just look at a couple sometimes and think to yourself, “they just look like they’re meant for each other.” Well, Andrew and Jana are just that. And Jana ended up with one of the sweetest grooms on the planet. Andrew was quite emotional and was overcome by happy tears on several occasions throughout the day. It was so great to see a groom so head over heels for his bride and unable to keep those emotions inside. Plus he actually wrote a song for their first dance and husband and wife as a surprise for Jana. Listing to the lyrics of the song as our team photographed their first dance was so special and gave the smallest glimpse into how thoughtful their relationship is.
Serving couples like Andrew and Jana, and their families, make this work so worthwhile. Our biggest goal when photographing weddings is to freeze moments in time that will mean more in twenty years than what they do today. Here’s a glimpse into some of my favorite moments from their wedding day. Be sure to check out the incredible vendor team that came together in support of these two - it was a blast getting to work alongside each and every one of them!
